US Soccer has named a new head coach for the Beach Soccer National Team. Eddie Soto has officially taken over the head coaching responsibilities and is looking to make an immediate impact. Soto brings with him an impressive resume: a current assistant with UCLA men’s soccer, a former college standout, and an ex beach soccer star. Having represented the US Beach Soccer team for a number of years, Soto is no stranger to the sand as he aims to share his wisdom with the new generation of players. Soto has named Braeden Cloutier as his assistant. An MLS and professional indoor veteran, Cloutier looks to translate his wealth of knowledge onto the sand . Soto’s first order of business is taking his squad to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the CONCACAF Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifiers from April 29 through May 3. American Beach Soccer would like to congratulate Eddie Soto on his appointment and looks forward to a very successful tenure. [BACK TO NEWS PAGE]
